ANTWERP DIAMOND SECTOR: INTERVIEW WITH MR. RAJ MEHTA

Raj Mehta, Director at Rosy Blue, speaks to The New Jeweller bureau on the leadership status of Antwerp Diamond sector in the global diamond supply chain and opines on the factors that were responsible to sustain the growth of the industry. He believes Antwerp has always shown its leadership position throughout the diamond supply chain. The import and export numbers show it for both polished and rough. The foundations are well structured and during the difficult months of 2020, the business never stopped. All services were on, maybe on a limited basis but it never closed.
